Car driving on two wheels illustration
By: John Roberts

(Scroll down for video) Usually we see such stunts only in movies, but this time it was real as can be.

Apparently, some motorists in Saudi Arabia, were bored with driving their four-wheel car the normal way so they decided to start a trend known as "sidewalk skiing" that only uses two wheels.

The new craze videos have been uploaded to the internet, which show cars balancing on one side, while speeding down the highway.

If that was not bad enough, two people get out on top of the moving vehicle and perform tasks such as changing wheels.
Shahoot, who performed the stunt with the “Impossible Group”, said: "The craze is downright inspiring, creating happiness and creativity with a little danger. The public enjoys it. Risk is involved in everything, but not too much danger."
Some of the people who have seen the videos disagree and think that the men are taking serious risks.

"Yes, there are risks involved. What if the car turns over on the road?” A viewer of the videos told
However, not everyone was too worried and some thought that men deserve recognition for what they were doing.

Another viewer told "This should be in the Guinness World Records. it is like balancing a two-wheeled bike, but this includes balancing with a wheel. This is very good. Bravo!"Mobile video not loading? Click here to view

Plane car
By: Sarah Weiss

(Scroll down for video) A man decided to convert an airplane into his personal car, according to video uploaded to the internet.

The 40-year-old police officer, known as “Speedy Cop” to his friends, combined an abandoned Cessna aircraft with a Toyota to create his unusual vehicle.

The 27-foot long vehicle was originally built for the 24 Hours LeMons race in South Carolina, a race for second-hand cars inspired by the more famous race of Le Mans in France.

The car, called Spirit of LeMons, can reach speeds of 90 miles an hour and won the most coveted prize in the race.
Since then, Jeff has made the car legal to drive on the street by adding headlights, brake lights and indicators.

He said: "I'm concerned when driving the vehicle because people focus so much on it and do not look where they're going. I have not seen an accident yet, but I'm afraid it's inevitable."

Jeff Bloch, who is a 17 year veteran of the police force, has no formal training in engineering or mechanics.
He said: "One of the best reactions was in South Carolina from a bunch of guys driving Ferraris. We stopped to get gas and were shocked after one of the guys said it was the best car he had ever seen. He drove a Ferrari."

Jeff hopes to get into the Spirit of LeMons race again and plans to drive the plane across the U.S. with his brother.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view

"The saddest moment in Egypt. I'm so embarrassed that I want to hide,” the Egyptian tour guide said. “I'm sorry," the traveler wrote.

"We wanted to clean the graffiti with a towel, but we can’t use water as it is a 3,500-year-old relic," the traveler added.

Car seen on video driving itself at high speeds on Israeli highway

Car drives itself with Israeli technology
By: Shifra Unger

(Scroll down for video) While Google already developed a self driving car, the high cost of the systems will make it impossible to be mass-produced.

However, an Israeli company introduced a self driving car with only a few hundred dollars worth of equipment.

An Audi A7, equipped with software connected to a video camera in the windshield, drove at speeds of up to 65 miles per hour, that makes a unique statement about the rapid progress in the development of self-driving vehicles.

"The idea is to get the most out of camera only autonomous driving," Gaby Hayon, senior vice president of research and development at Mobileye Vision Technologies, the Israeli company that created the system in the Audi said.

The Mobileye car does not compare to Google’s self driving car. Google's car, which has been tested on more than 500,000 miles in California traffic, will join the motorway, drive safely through intersections, make left and right turns, and pass slow vehicles.

By contrast, the Mobileye vehicle, is capable of driving only on a single lane at highway speeds, stop at traffic lights, automatically identify slow-moving vehicles, stop and then drive back at highway speeds.

However, by installing low-cost video cameras, the company showed how quickly they can market auto driving. "You cannot sell a car with $70,000 worth of equipment," Amnon Shashua, a computer scientist at the Hebrew University and one of the founders of Mobileye said regarding the Google self driving system.

“I watched the video and I must say the car drives surprisingly well, maybe even more smoothly than a real person driving a vehicle. I can’t wait for the upgraded version of cruise control to be installed for just a few hundred dollars on any car,” Travis Walsh, 42, of Mobile, Alabama told after watching the video.

In the video below, you can see Israeli built self driving car drive on the Israeli roadway from Jerusalem to the Dead Sea.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view

(Scroll down for video) A couple was arrested after a motorist spotted the couple’s daughter riding in a dog cage, and called police.

The couple is facing child endangerment charges for sending their 10-year-old daughter to the back of the pickup truck to ride in the dog cage.

Motorists saw the girl in the cage with a dog at about 7:00 pm on the Pennsylvania Turnpike and reported it to the authorities. The girl's mother, Abbey Carlson, 29, and stepfather, 30-year-old Thomas Fishinger, of Pennsylvania, were charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

During an interview, Fishinger, who was driving the truck, said they were heading home when the dog started crying, they did not have place in the pick-up truck cabin to take the dog in, so they stopped at the side of the road and told the 10-year-old to go into the cage and take care of the dog.

“The man sounds like an animal lover who does not want his dog to suffer, but in this case, he put his dog before his step-daughter, and that is not ok,” Kevin Allen, 24, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, told when asked for his opinion on the incident.

"I did not want the dog to suffer," Fishinger said. "That's like animal cruelty to me, you know, to let the dog cry like that," he added.

“She plays with the dog in the cage all the time. She was strapped in, I did not think it was that big of a deal and we were not going fast," the mother said.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view

(Scroll down for video) A white man was accused of kidnapping his three young black daughters.

The father, who lives in Prince William County, Virginia, was detained and questioned by police after they suspected he might have kidnapped his own children.

The man named Joseph, married his African-American wife, 10-years-ago. Together, they have three adorable dark-skinned girls. One day, when the father took his daughters to Walmart, the security guard saw Joseph and became suspicious that the girls might have been kidnapped by Joseph.

After Joseph cashed a check at Walmart, he took his children back to his car, strapped them into the car seats and drove home.
When he reached his home, he was greeted by a police officer. The officer detained and questioned him. The police officer informed Joseph that the security guard at Walmart had reported him to police.

His wife Keana, said that police asked them both for their IDs and then asked their 4-year-old daughter to point out who her father and mother were.

“I understand why the couple was offended, but on the other hand, with so many kidnappings, people try to be vigilant, and when they see something that looks odd they report it. Rather safe than sorry,” Hazel Lewis, 33, of Norfolk, Virginia, told when asked her opinion of the incident.

When Keana, the African-American mother, called Walmart and demanded an explanation of the events, they informed her that a customer had seen her husband in the parking lot and had come into the store, was worried, so he reported the incident to the security guard who then notified the police.

(Scroll down for video) A young girl was escorted out of a football stadium after she shouted a racial slur at one of the players.

During the game, while Adam Goodes was running for the ball, he heard a 13-year-old girl call him an “ape.”

The 13-year-old girl named Julia, was taken to police for questioning. Police then spoke with Goodes. He did not want to press charges against the young girl.

In a statement, Goodes said: "It's not her fault, she is 13-years-old, she is still so innocent. I do not put any blame on her. Unfortunately, it's what she hears in the environment in which she’s growing up, and that caused her to believe that it's okay to call people names."

“I am surprised that with all the noise of screaming fans and the announcers, Goodes was able to hear the comment made by the 13-year-old girl,” Barry Porter, 30, of Bismarck, North Dakota, told after watching the video. The girl publicly apologized to Goodes and his fans. She said that she did not mean to offend anyone, and she was very sorry.

After the girl apologized, Goodes asked people to support the girl. "Just received a phone call from the young girl who apologized for her actions. Let's support her please,” Goodes tweeted.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view

As we reported earlier, a man was horrified when his hidden camera recorded his girlfriend cheating with his own teenage son. The man, set up a hidden video camera to record paranormal activity in the kitchen, but when he reviewed the video for signs of a ghost, he found his girlfriend making out with his son.

The 28-year-old woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty in the Supreme Court on Monday to five counts of sex with a minor.

She said she was "embarrassed" by her actions and said she thought that the age of consent was 16-years-old, but she was wrong as the age of consent in Tasmania is 17-years-old. The court heard that when the man confronted his partner of 11 years with whom he has a child together with the video, she tried to downplay the incident as an innocent hug.

His son however, confessed to sleeping with her three times in the past. It later emerged that the affair began when the woman entered the room of her stepson to discuss his driving lessons. The conversation then turned to touching and kissing, which led more, Prosecutor Jackie Hartnett told the court.

She also told the court how the woman had taken the boy upstate, where they had slept together several times in a hotel room. After discovering the images on his camcorder, the man called police and his girlfriend was arrested.

“I do not understand how the woman tried to justify sleeping with the teenager. She was living in the house and acted like a stepmom to him. That’s just wrong!” Nancy Wells, 35, of Melbourne, Australia told after the woman pleaded guilty to sleeping with her boyfriend’s son.

In a police recorded interview she confessed to sleeping with the minor and admitted knowing he was only 16-years-old. Now she will spend time in prison.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view

Phone thief uploads his photo to victim’s WhatsApp profile

Photo uploaded to victims WhatsApp profile
By: Moses Gold

A robbery victim may get his items back after the thief uploaded a photo of himself to the victim’s social media profile.

This cellphone thief is now dubbed South Africa's dumbest criminal after he mistakenly uploaded a photograph of himself onto his victim’s WhatsApp profile.

Lohan Van Heerden, 20, of Gauteng, South Africa, is a second year actuarial science student at the University of Pretoria. He was jumped by a gang, and had his phone stolen amongst other valuables. When Van Heerden signed into his WhatsApp account he was shocked to discover that a photo of another man was on his profile. He immediately recognized the man as one of the men who robbed him.

One night, Van Heerden was heading home when four men came over to his car and put a knife to his throat. They stole his phone, jacket, belt, and money. The robbers also forced him to drive to an ATM to withdraw R1000 or about $100.00, before letting him go.
Van Heerden told police that when he saw the photo, he immediately recognized the man as the leader of the gang, and as the man who had assaulted and punched him in the face.

“The thief most probably wanted to upload this photo to his own account and when he opened the phone the victim's profile was already logged in, so he mistakenly sent it to the wrong profile. I hope they catch the thief before he robs other victims,” Antonio Tucker, 20, of Fargo, North Dakota, told after learning about the incident.

Cafe starts charging customers for time spent rather than for items bought

Slow Times cafe
By: Moses Gold

A cafe decided to charge for time spent rather than for items bought at its store location, according to a statement released by the store.

The German coffee-house said that it will be charging customers for the amount of time spent in the center instead of charging them for items that they order.

Daria Volkova, 24, who is the founder of the Slow Times cafe in Wiesbaden, said she was inspired by similar cafes in her native Russia. She moved to Germany in 2008.

Volkova said she expects that the unique business model will help her make enough money to support herself and her 6 year-old-son.

"I hope to capture the spirit of the time," Volkova said.
Volkova said customers are given marked time bracelets when they enter the cafe and are charged $0.04 per minute, amounting to $5.18 per hour.

Volkova said that the watches around the cafe are deliberately set to different times in order to help people take their mind off the time and instead focus on those around them.
"It's easier and cheaper to meet people here than in a bar, where you have to buy expensive drinks," Volkova said.

“What a lovely idea. When such a cafe will open in my neighborhood I will definitely be a steady customer. It is a really cheap way to enjoy the day out with friends. Hopefully, my weight will not spiral out of control,” Mattie Burke, 36, of Huntsville, Alabama told after learning about the cafe that charges for time rather than coffee.

Hundreds stage public kissing protest in Turkey after government ban on public kissing

Public kissing protest in Turkey
By: John Roberts

(Scroll down for video) The Turkish government has issued a ban on public kissing after it has received complaints by Islamists that people were kissing on public transportation.

As a result of the ban, hundreds of people staged a kissing in public protest at a train station in Ankara.
Hundreds of people marched in Ankara, and were kissing, singing and carrying signs saying free kisses.

Their protest was due to an official announcement warning travelers to abide by moral rules after a couple was seen kissing on the security cameras of the train station.

However, secular Turkish people, who are concerned about the spread of strict Islamic law in Turkey, were questioning the right of officials in making such demands.

“All the liberties we used to enjoy in Turkey is slowly slipping away. These days, Turkey is not too different from Saudi Arabia, and I fear that soon there will be public stoning ceremonies just like in other strict sharia compliant Muslim nations,” Rashid Yousuf, 40, of Ankara, Turkey told after learning about the new kissing ban.

A conservative counter-protest of about 20 people was also held.Mobile video not loading? Click here to view

Three men were arrested, charged and convicted with theft related charges after they were caught stealing a van full of dead bodies, according to court proceedings in Germany.

Now, the three men who stole a van in Germany without knowing it was loaded with 12 corpses were sentenced to imprisonment in Poland.

The Poznan, Poland court was told that the men, ages 25 to 27, stole a Mercedes Sprinter van that was parked in Partenkirchen, Germany, while the driver stopped to wash his hands on his way to deliver the load of bodies to a crematorium in Meissen, Germany.
