(Scroll down for video) A rapist was severely beaten by community members after it took some time until police arrived to the scene, according to police reports in Michigan.

Detroit Police said that members of a community took matters into their own hands and beat a man, who was accused of raping a girl, 15, with Down syndrome, after police failed to quickly arrive at the scene of the incident.

The 15-year-old victim said that a man grabbed her as she walked to work, took her into his apartment and raped her.
The suspect lives in the same neighborhood as the victim. Members of the Hubbard Farms community said that the man has mental health problems as well. The community distributed flyers about the man around the neighborhood in order to warn others.

Friends of the victim said that the teen waited for seven hours at a hospital in Detroit until police administered a rape exam. They also said that it took five days before police questioned her about the sexual assault and 21 days until the Detroit Police sent the rape kit to the Michigan State Police Crime Lab.

"That's just not acceptable," they said. Other community members were equally outraged by what they believe was a lack of a response from the Detroit Police on Monday and took matters into their own hands. The community beat the accused rapist with a baseball bat. The man was hospitalized after the attack.

(Scroll down for video) A crowd was overjoyed as a drone appeared in the sky and dropped beer to the participants of a music festival.

The incident occurred at a South African music festival.

The Oppikoppi festival in the country’s northern Limpopo province used applications and GPS technology to accurately drop plastic cups full of beer for festival goers.

Customers, who ordered beer through a smartphone application, were served their beverage by a drone that hovered 50 feet above the crowd.

Carel Hoffmann, director of the festival, explained how the application worked: "The delivery guys set up a drown and when they received the order through the application they dropped a cup of beer with a parachute directly at the customer below.”

The beer dispensing drone has been nicknamed “'Mana” in a nod to the history of the Old Testament, about bread falling from heaven to feed the Israelites traveling through desert.

"It's an almost biblical thing to see beer falling from the sky," Hoffmann said. "Every time it dropped a parachute, a crowd of 5,000 cheered," she also said.

Christopher Martin and Jessica Stroble
By: Ryan Lee Hall

A couple was heading to Las Vegas, Nevada when they decided to start their vacation on the airplane.

Although people claim “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,” seems like the airplane ride to Las Vegas is not counted as being in Vegas.

Charges have been filed against two passengers on a Allegiant Air flight that flew from Oregon to Las Vegas, after passengers complained about the couple having oral sex in full view of passengers including children.

According to the criminal complaint, Christopher Martin and Jessica Stroble flew from Medford, Oregon, to Las Vegas, Nevada,
on Allegiant Air flight 557, when the alleged incident happened.

Charges were filed against Stroble, who is a salon worker, and Martin, who is an owner of a vineyard, after a passenger who sat across the aisle told police that the woman performed oral sex on the man twice during their one and a half hour flight.

After other people came forward and complained about the couple's behavior, police were notified.
Upon landing, Martin and Stroble were escorted off the plane and questioned by Las Vegas police.

The complaint alleges that Stroble “performed oral sex and manually stimulated the genitals of a male passenger sitting in the window seat next to her.” In a complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas, the couple were charged with engaging in “lewd, indecent, and obscene acts on an airplane."

When asked about her relationship with Martin, Stroble did not want to give any details about their relationship. The only thing she revealed was that they were not married.
If convicted, they each face up to 90 days in jail and a fine.

(Scroll down for video) People are always looking for ways to save money. One man made himself an apartment out of a garbage dumpster.

Gregory Kloehn of California has converted a $2,000 dumpster into a fully functional house, complete with a bathroom, bedding and kitchen.

Kloehn, who is a designer, made himself a small house in Brooklyn, New York, so he can have a cheap place to stay when he visits New York.
Kloehn added wheels to the bottom of the dumpster so he can transport it more easily. He carved out a door on the side for easy entry and exit.

For drinking water, he installed a six gallon water tank on the “roof”. The same water is then channeled into the small bathroom and it is ready for use. The toilet is hidden underneath one of the seats. When he need to use the bathroom he simply picks up the seat and there it is. The water is also connected to an outdoor shower, which has a functional shower curtain for privacy.

The interior is insulated with black-and-red padding and features a small seating area which is also used as the bed.
The small kitchen occupies one corner of the dumpster. It has a microwave, a small oven, both running on electricity, and he also has a sink.

A small grill can be attached to the outside of the dumpster. On the “roof”, an umbrella provides some shade for outdoor or “rooftop” lounging.
If he wants to get some extra sunlight in the interior, he can raise the retractable “roof” to expose two windows which let the light in.

A McDonald’s customer got lucky after employees found his bag filled with $30,000 in cash in a store trash can, according to police reports in France.

Police in France said that an extra check of a dumpster at a McDonald’s in France, helped find an envelope with money left behind by a panicked customer.

The diner stopped for lunch at the Golden Arches in Avignon, earlier this week and left with his stomach full but with empty pockets. He left a bag containing 25,000 euros, or about $33,000 that he scored after closing a real estate transaction.

The package was gone when he returned several minutes later, however, employees discovered the bag and its contents the next day buried in the dumpster behind the restaurant.

Police contacted the frantic customer and returned the envelope.

This was not the first time a person who lost cash got lucky. As we reported earlier, it could have been a nice pay-day for one woman who serves drinks at a golf course, but she decided to do the right thing instead.

A Florida woman is being praised by police for turning in $36,000 she found on a golf course. The woman said that her Christian faith led her to "do the right thing."

Rachel Castillo, who works as a drink server to golfers at the Miami Beach Golf Course, said a customer alerted her to a bag left behind on a bench in the course. She went to pick up the bag and found piles upon piles of cash inside.

Castillo said she contacted police to hand over the bag, which also contained the identification of a 76-year-old man.
"Easy money is not good money, you know," Castillo said about her decision to turn the money in. "I was really freaking out a little," she added.

"I believe in the Bible," she said. "I am a Christian, and the Bible says: 'Do not steal, do not lie’, you know, all those things, and if you do what is right, if you live in the right way, you will be rewarded. I think I will taken care of if I do what is right,” the woman said.

“Castillo deserves praise. She is a hard worker and earns little money. She could have kept the money for herself and nobody would have known where the money disappeared. The golf course is lucky to have her as a worker,” Amy, Bradley, 31, of Dania Beach, Florida told YourJewishNews.com after learning about Castillo.
Police praised Castillo for delivering the money. They said they are working on returning the money to the elderly man.

A doctor was brutally attacked after an elderly man claimed he had received bad care, according to police reports in Italy.

Police in Italy said that a doctor in central Italy was attacked at a clinic on Friday by an 81-year-old farmer with a machete, who complained that he received "poor care".

Daniela Vivani, 58, is reportedly in stable condition after suffering from lacerations to her hands and face, which required more than 40 stitches. Her attacker, Enrico Bostreghini, was arrested by police. Witnesses said he entered the clinic and then jumped the line, claiming to have an appointment before assaulting the victim.

Bostreghini told police at the scene that he was upset by what he considered bad treatment by the physician. Police said the suspect had a history of public disorder that included setting fire twice to the front door of the town hall, in retaliation for fines he had received.

However, doctors are not the people to be attacked. As we reported earlier, people were shocked to see a heartless doctor punching a heart surgery patient, who later died, and they are calling on police to charge the doctor with a crime, according to video uploaded to the internet.

Russian Police said that a highly respected anesthesiologist was fired shortly after he brutally beat a heart surgery patient that allegedly caused the patient to die.

"We spent a lot of time with his surgery, it was a very difficult procedure, and he did not thank me at all for it. I was also extremely tired after the long procedure. I got carried away, and I hit him several times," Votyakov said.

The doctor offered an apology to the family of the patient. The patient died shortly after the beating.
The case is still being investigated by police.

Who knew that they had it in them. A group of angry elephants are attacking a village after one of their own was hit and killed by a train.

About 15 elephants, which are mourning the death of a member of their pack after being hit by a train near the Matari railway station in India, are attacking the village and have so far demolished part of a school along with several houses. The villagers have held a night-long vigil for the dead elephant, but so far, they have not been able to get rid of the attacking elephants.

Wildlife Activist D.S. Srivastava said that the elephants have a strong sense of family bonding and often resort to revenge attacks. "The elephants often try to return to these sites, as they believe that their partner was only injured and could only be rescued by them. Even when an elephant dies a natural death, its friends cover the body with shrubs and small branches," Srivastava said. “I believe that the herd of elephants will return to this site again and again,” Srivastava also said.

Railway authorities are also concerned and are keeping a close eye on the developments. "We have asked train drivers to be more careful," railway spokesperson Amrendra Das of the Dhanbad division said.

The herd of elephants had stopped several trains on the Delhi-Howrah route near the Matari railway station on Wednesday night after a member of the herd was killed by the Kolkata-Delhi Duronto Express. The elephants left the scene just after the disaster management team arrived and detonated firecrackers.

About 10 homes were damaged so far, village leaders said.
