(Scroll down for video) A new video has emerged, which shows Bar Refaeli convincing Simon Cowell about her talents as a judge on The X Factor, according to video uploaded to the internet.

As The X Factor expands its global markets once again, the talent show is preparing for its launch in Israel.
Bar Refaeli, the most popular model of the country, will be the main attraction of the show.
Simon Cowell will not be a judge in the Israeli series, instead, he will leave the judging to a panel of Israelis.

The trailer begins with a sports car speeding down a winding desert road in the Middle East, driven by Bar herself, with a smile on her face.

Stopping at American style run down restaurant, the model struts her way into the restaurant, attracting attention left, right and center, thanks to the low-cut leather dress that hugged every inch of her slim figure.

Walking up to Simon, who sat at a dirty table, she keeps telling the tycoon that she will pick only the best talent Israel has to offer in the country's inaugural series of The X Factor.

The X Factor premieres in Israel a few weeks after the summer break.

Over 1,000 child terror victims remembered in Tel Aviv exhibition

Children and young adults receiving books

A large event was held in order to honor child terror victims in Israel, according to a report by the Tazpit News Agency.

Against the backdrop of a red sun dipping into the Mediterranean, friends and family members gathered together to honor over 1,000 child terror victims at Tel Aviv’s Old Railway Station last Thursday, August 29.

In what was a special gala event organized by OneFamily Fund, the evening included the launching of a book called “Longing for a Hug,” which features accounts in Hebrew written by 152 child terror victims who lost loved ones to Palestinian terrorism since the Second Intifada in late 2000. Assembling the book took six years and the children who wrote the stories – many of whom are young adults today serving in the IDF - were present on Thursday to receive their published copies.

Along with the book, an art exhibit was also unveiled, featuring artwork by 40 leading Israeli and international artists including David D'or, Elan Siman Tov and JoJo, who were directly inspired by the stories of these children.

Founded in 2001, OneFamily is Israel’s national organization that works to rehabilitate and rebuild the shattered lives of terror victims and their families through various therapeutic programs as well as legal and financial assistance. To date, the organization has worked with nearly 4,000 families impacted by terror.

OneFamily, which is comprised of professional staff and volunteers, has had an especially unique impact on child terror victims.
When she was only 10-years-old, Racheli Tzukerman’s older brother, Benayah, was killed in a Jerusalem bus bombing in 2004.”
In the book, Longing for a Hug, Racheli writes about her brother “And the longing for you is always there, inside. Benayah, I hear, see, hold, hug, and continue my life together with you.”

“I wrote this when I was 14,” Racheli told Tazpit News Agency, as she held the newly published book in her hands. “It’s strange to see this in print, to reread what I was thinking when I was still a child and all this happened,” she explains. “But it’s an important part of the healing process.”

Tzukerman is now 20 and serves as a commander in the IDF. Standing beside her, is Yakir Taranto, also 20, who lost his older brother, Moshe when he was 12-years-old. Moshe was killed during an army operation to eliminate terrorists in Gaza nine years ago.

Taranto, from Ashdod, is an active member of OneFamily, having attended summer camps and other activities. “At first I didn’t want to join, I thought that this would another support group,” he recalled. “But they wouldn’t stop calling and eventually I joined the program. I met my best friends here, and I was able to open up in a way that I couldn’t do with my family. Everyone understands each other because we’ve all gone through the pain of losing someone we loved.”

A shooting instructor in the IDF, Taranto got special leave to come to the OneFamily Event. “It’s very moving to be here,” he says. “We were all children when we wrote down our thoughts about our siblings and family members that were killed,” he adds. “Maybe I would have written about my brother differently now, but there is something special about capturing the moment when you are young.”

Tzukerman still remembers the staff from OneFamily visiting her family during the shiva, Judaism’s week-long mourning period after a family member’s passing. “OneFamily was with me from the first day of our family’s tragedy,” Tzukerman told Tazpit News Agency. “They [OneFamily] would regularly visit our home and were always in touch.”

For others, remembering their siblings is maintained in a different way. Tomer Idan, 21, from Rishon LeZion has a picture of his brother tattooed on his back, with the word “forever.” “I got the tattoo three years ago,” explained Idan, who is about to complete his army service.

Notable public figures who attended the event included Israeli Minister of Education, Shay Piron; Deputy Defense Minister, Danny Danon; IDF Chief Rabbi, Rafi Peretz; Tel Aviv mayor, Ron Huldai, and Israeli author, David Grossman.

By opening the event to the public, OneFamily hopes to get across the message of the power of remembering, to as many people as possible.

“Our hope is that these stories will never be forgotten. Victims of terror are part of our national story as the Jewish people, and not just individual to families,” said OneFamily spokesperson, Rachel Moore.

“These children and their families need our ongoing support. The consequences of such tragedies never end. This is why OneFamily is here – to bring us all together so that we can provide the love and warmth that these families need by showing that we will never forget their losses.”

The Longing for a Hug exhibition is located at HaTachana, Tel Aviv’s Old Railway Station and is open to the public from August 30 – September 29.

A group of terrorists planned to attack a popular mall just outside the Old City of Jerusalem, Israel, according to a report by the Tazpit News Agency.

A terrorist plot to detonate a bomb in the Mamilla Mall near the Old City in Jerusalem was foiled by Israel's security forces, a police spokesperson announced this morning. The attack was planned for one of the upcoming Jewish holidays.

In a joint operation conducted during August by Israeli Police, the GSS and a special operations unit, a terrorist cell consisting of two Israeli Arabs from the Shuafat camp and the Ras-El-Amud neighborhood in Jerusalem were arrested in suspicion of planning to transfer a bomb from the Judea and Samaria area into Jerusalem.

The two, aged 22 and 25, both cleaning workers at the mall, admitted to the charges and the police intend to submit an indictment against them today. They will be charged with assisting the enemy, conspiring to commit a crime and with an attempt to produce weapons. The two would have taken advantage of their Israeli identity cards and privileges as citizens to execute the attack.

They were recruited by Hamdi Hasnin Hamdi Romana, a Hamas terrorist from Ramallah, several months ago. During his interrogation an explosives lab was exposed in his home. He admitted to having contacts with a chemist and told of how he tried to procure materials for a bomb.

The cell had further plans to attack IDF soldiers, and to produce rockets and fire them from the Ramallah area at Israeli communities in the vicinity.

The spokesperson stressed that the exposure of the cell indicates a high motivation by Hamas to execute terrorist attacks in Israel, and pointed to the threat posed by Arabs with Israeli ID's who can exploit them to attack Israelis.

In March 2011 a bomb exploded at Benyanei Hauma in Jerusalem, and in November 2012 a bomb exploded in a bus in Tel Aviv. In both incidents the bomb was produced by Hamas and planted by Israeli Arabs.

A woman was rushed to a hospital after she decided to hide stolen cash inside her rectum, according to police reports in Tennessee.

Bulls Gap Police said that a local woman will be charged with theft related charges after she allegedly stole $5,000 from her boyfriend, and hid the money in her rectum.

Christie M. Black, 43, was hospitalized on Tuesday for injuries suffered while stuffing her rectum with cash.

Black’s boyfriend told authorities that he suspected his girlfriend was stealing money from him. The boyfriend decided to test his girlfriend on Tuesday, at his home on N. Ridge Road, by placing two envelopes full of money totaling $5,000 in $100 bills and some drugs, on an old foosball table for the night.

When the man woke up the next morning, he realized that Black was still up, so he checked the bag and found that the contents were missing.

Black then got sick and threw up partially dissolved pills. According to an incident report, the man asked for the missing money, and she admitted that she wrapped the money and put it in her rectum.

When deputies arrived at the scene, Black said she stole the money and medication because her boyfriend was going to lock her out of the house, and she needed money in order to find a place to live.

She was taken to a local hospital because she was bleeding profusely. At the hospital, the stash of money was removed from her rectum and seized as evidence.

By: John Roberts

(Scroll down for video) A plastic surgeon fell in love with a woman, but his only problem was her weight.

The doctor gave her a full "Wonder Woman Makeover," and sculpted her into the wife of his dreams.

Dr. David Matlock, 49, who is a famous Beverly Hills, California, plastic surgeon, convinced his client, Veronica, to have a full body plastic surgery. When she was done and looked spectacular, the doctor asked her to marry him.

Veronica first visited Dr. Matlock to inquire about a vaginoplasty procedure after giving birth to her daughter. She had no idea that she would soon become his wife, but she did.

Veronica was 40 pounds overweight and was unhappy with the way she looked. “I could not even look at him during our first conversation,” she said. However, the doctor did not see the extra pounds, he saw a sweet woman, and he instantly fell in love with her. “It was love at first sight,” he said.

Veronica chose to have the "Wonder Woman Makeover", which included liposuction of the chin, arms and thighs, as well as a "Brazilian Butt " lift.
After she was done, Dr. Matlock asked Veronica out on a date. Then, he proposed to her on their first date.

He has been helping her improve her physique ever since. He is also encouraging her to follow a healthy diet and a strict exercise program.
Dr. Matlock also had a lot plastic surgery procedures done on himself in order to get the perfect male body he had always dreamed about.

The 49-year-old said that diet and exercise alone could not take his body to the level of perfection, so he had liposuction done on his pecs, biceps and triceps, and used a technique called Vaser High Def Liposculpting, which he pioneered, to inject live fat into the biceps, triceps, calves, or pecs and give them a sculpted look.

The couple carefully plan their meals, consisting of lean chicken, fish, rice and vegetables.

Interestingly enough, their nine-year-old daughter, Isabel, does not share their passion for eating healthy, fitness or plastic surgery. She said that healthy food does not taste good, and that she would never go under the knife for cosmetic purposes, “because it’s not really you, and I want to be myself.”

Veronica said that although her husband still encourages her to get various procedures done, she feels that he loves her for who she is. Her proof is that when she walked into his office for the first time she was overweight and not very attractive, and he always told her that it was love at first sight.

A man called police after he was frightened by a group of drunken elks that was outside his house, according to police reports in Sweden.

Stockholm Police said that a gang of angry drunk elk blocked a man from entering his home on Tuesday, leaving the frightened homeowner no choice but to call the police for help.

"Five drunken elk were threatening a resident, who was banned from his own home," an incident report on the website of the Stockholm Police Department said.

The police officer who wrote the report, confirmed that the homeowner, who lives on the island of Ingaro in Stockholm's eastern suburbs, was justified in calling the police for help.

"They can be very dangerous. They become brazen. Rather than retreat when a person approaches, they move towards you. They may even attack you," a police spokesperson said.

The incident involved four adult elk and one calf, all of which were intoxicated after eating fermented apples that had fallen from the homeowner’s tree.

However, by the time police officers arrived at the scene there were no sign of the elk.
The homeowner was instructed by police to clean his yard in order to avoid future incidents with drunken elk.

Drunken elk are a recurring nuisance for homeowners near Stockholm, police said. Police receive dozens of calls each year complaining about the brazen animals.

By: Debbi Gross

(Scroll down for video) A drug addicted woman found herself a good job as school nurse where she was able to steal the pills she was supposed to give the children.

The nurse at New River Elementary School in Florida, was arrested after she was accused of stealing prescription pills that were kept in the student clinic, according to Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

Kimberly Dawn Smith, 39 , of Dade City, is accused of taking pills such as Ritalin, which are commonly used for children who suffer from attention deficit disorder (ADD).

The theft came to light when a parent came to the school to retrieve a bottle of pills after her child no longer needed the pills. The mother realized that pills were missing from the bottle and she notified the school staff.

Police officers found 25 pills in Smith’s possession. Furthermore, they found one bottle that contained unknown pills, which they believe Smith switched so she can give it the children instead of the prescription pills.

After an interrogation, Smith admitted to taking prescription pills that belonged to students and using them for herself.
This was not the first time Smith has been accused of gaining access to prescription drugs through illegal means.

Previously, the Board of Nursing suspended her nursing license because of complaints that she called in fraudulent prescriptions to pharmacies while she was working for a pediatrician's office.
The school did not require a license for a nurse, and are now reconsidering this policy.
Smith was booked into jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

The man, Timothy Porter, 40, was arrested after he hypnotized the married woman, and then made her perform sex acts on herself such as grabbing her own breasts.

When he appeared at the Teesside Crown Court, Porter, who now lives in Blackburn, Lancashire, pleaded guilty to the charges.
After he admitted the charge, he was ordered to register as a sex offender.

Coulson Loptmann
By: Moses Gold

(Scroll down for video) There is no such thing as a free lunch at Starbuck, even if you are employed at the store.

If you work at a fast food restaurant, you should know that you cannot eat food for free even if it the food was already thrown out.

A Starbucks worker said he was fired after eating a sandwich out of the trash can. Coulson Loptmann, 21, had worked at a Seattle, Washington, Starbucks, for over a year.

One day during his seven hour shift, he was very hungry as he had not eaten all day. He realized that his colleague had thrown out a few sausage sandwiches, which were still wrapped in plastic.

He took one out of the trash and ate it. Turns out that the dates of sale for the sandwiches were already expired and the company was unable to sell it.

A week later, Loptmann’s manager fired him. She said she had learned about the sandwich that he took out of the trash can, and she contacted human resources. "They consider it stealing, and it’s against company policy," she said. She also said she was sorry, but she had to fire him.

Loptmann said that he uses food stamps to make ends meet, and thought it was okay to take the sandwich because it was already in the trash can.
He said he plans to support the fast food strike for higher wages even though he remain unemployed.
