(Scroll down for video) A 19-year-old woman was looking for help when she was brutally gunned down and killed by a homeowner.

Renisha McBride was shot in the head and died on the porch of a Dearborn Heights, Michigan home, where she went to get help after she was involved in a car accident.

McBride’s cell phone was dead and she apparently wanted to use the phone of the home to call for help.

However, when she knocked on the door at 2:30 a.m., the homeowner thought that she was an intruder and felt threatened, so he pulled a gun and killed the black teen.

McBride’s family claims that the attack was racially motivated, because McBride, who is black, went to a house in a predominantly white neighborhood, and she was killed as soon as she was seen on the porch.

"She was shot in the head, why? For knocking on a door?" her aunt said. "If he felt scared or threatened, he should have called 911," she said.

Police decided to file charges against the shooter, even though Michigan has a “stand your ground” law.

British Jews angry because drug abusers urinate on their Synagogue

Plymouth synagogue
By: Shifra Unger

Members of the Jewish community in Plymouth, United Kingdom, have filed a complaint with officials after numerous drug addicts use the Synagogue property on a regular basis to relieve themselves.

Now, the Jewish community has asked a zoning board to allow the historic synagogue to erect gates in order to stop people from urinating on it.

The Catherine Street Synagogue is the oldest of its kind in the British world, and last year celebrated its 250th anniversary.

It opened in 1762 and was unharmed during the World War Two Nazi Blitz that flattened most of the city.

The planning application requests permission from the Plymouth City Council for the construction of self-supporting gate posts and cast iron gates through a hallway leading to the synagogue.

In a statement accompanying the application for construction, a spokesperson said that "in order to cure long-standing antisocial behavior and also to avoid an increased risk of damage to the synagogue from urine, we need gates.”

The supporting statement indicates that the antisocial behavior includes urination and defecation.

"The people who cause this are mainly those who visit nearby bars, and homeless people who use the road in the back of the synagogue building as a toilet near where they sleep. Surprisingly, this problem exists not only after dark, but people have relieved themselves during the day, on weekdays and weekends,” according to the statement.

The statement also points out how the custodian and his family have suffered indecent exposure of men and women.

Now, the disgruntled computer programmer quit his job after complaining to his bosses that they were paying him too much.

While the most common complaints of disgruntled employees usually are that the wages are too low, worker Sandeep Jia left his $750 a month job for the opposite reason.

“I was depressed, and finally, I decided to solve the problem by leaving and find a different job," he said.

The 32-year-old repeatedly asked for a pay cut as his wealth made him feel "guilty" when others in Bangalore, India, lived in poverty.

However, when his request for a lower wage was repeatedly ignored by his bosses, he decided to resign.

Psychologists believe that guilt is a growing problem in the country where there is great disparity in wealth between the poor and rich.

The man said that he was abused after authorities conducted three enemas, a colonoscopy and an x-ray examination. He also underwent several cavity searches simply because he seemed to have clenched his behind.

Court documents indicate that Eckert was driving to a Walmart store in Deming, when he failed to stop at a stop sign. He was taken immediately stopped by officers.

Eckert is suing the City of Deming, Deming police officers Bobby Orosco, Robert Chavez, and Hernandez.

He is also suing Hidalgo County police officers David Arredondo, Robert Rodriguez, and Patrick Green.

Now, the man has received an 11 month prison sentence.

The Butler County man admitted to having sexual contact with a pool float.

Edwin Tobergta was sentenced on Tuesday.

Tobergta pleaded guilty after a judge found him competent to stand trial.

Tobergta has already spent a year in prison after a previous conviction of public indecency, which also involved a pool toy.

As we reported earlier, a man was arrested and charged with public indecency related charges after he was seen rubbing up against an inflatable raft in public, according to police reports in Ohio.

Ohio Police said that neighbors of the man arrested for public indecency repeatedly said they are alarmed by his behavior and hope he gets mental help.

Edwin Charles Tobergta III, 34, of Harmon Avenue, was arrested for allegedly strolling out naked from his back door about 1:20 pm and having sex with a rubber pool, according to a Hamilton police report.

Tobergta was indicted by a Butler County grand jury Wednesday for public indecency, a 5th degree felony. If convicted, he faces 12 months behind bars.

The 10 year-old daughter of Theresa Teague was enjoying her new pool, when she ran inside her house and said: "Tobergta was doing something weird out there," Teague said.

Tobergta was caught having sex with an inflatable toy Teague said a neighbor had thrown out to the trash.
“He was screaming, ‘Please forgive me. I will not do it again. Do not call the police,'" as he ran back to his house, Teague said.

Teague’s girl is now reluctant to play in her backyard, even though she knows that Tobergta is in jail.
"We're looking to take her to counseling,"

Timothy Teague, the girl's grandfather, said. He also said he is shocked by what happened.
"How can a man do something with a rubber raft in front of a 10-year-old? It's very unfortunate," he said.

Theresa Teague moved to the neighborhood last year and said she had no idea about Tobergta’s past.
"I feel that as ordinary citizens, we need to be aware of such things," she said.

Tobergta has been arrested several times before for similar offenses, according to the Hamilton Municipal Court records.
Police officers reported that Tobergta refused to put his clothes back on, tried to grab an officer and then threatened that officer.

Tobergta is being held in the Butler County Jail on $25,000 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned next week before Common Pleas of Butler County Judge Charles Pater.
