When the two arrived in the Palestinian city, a man dressed as a Palestinian security officer yelled at the soldier to identify himself. He was handcuffed and blindfolded.

The Loehmann's department store chain was slapped with a lawsuit after it fired several female employees for being too old, according to a lawsuit filed in New York.

A lawsuit states that the three plaintiffs were fired only because they were too old, and not for the reasons cited by the company.

The lawsuit was filed last week in Manhattan Supreme Court by Angela Fletcher, 54, Bernice Lowe, 57, and Rosemary Mangum, 76.

The women stated that the store invented reasons to dismiss them.

Fletcher was allegedly fired for working overtime, Lowe said she was fired after a false accusation of a co-worker, and Mangum, a 20 year veteran of customer service, was fired without warning for giving too many discounts, according to the lawsuit.

Since the CEO of the company, Steven Newman, was hired in 2011, the department store has been trying to cultivate a more youthful appearance, with young models for advertising and promoting younger employees in the press, the lawsuit states.

The lawsuit alleges that the women are victims of age discrimination.

Teen left devastated after learning she cannot have sex because she has no vagina

Jacqui Beck
By: Eva Fett

(Scroll down for video) A teenager got the shock of her life when her doctor informed her that she has no vagina.

The teenager, who never got her period, will need a procedure done before she could have sex.

The British teenager said she was in total shock to learn that she was born without a vagina.

During a routine visit to the doctor, Jacqui Beck, 17, mentioned to her doctor that she never got her period.

Tests soon showed that she has MRKH syndrome, which stands for Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome named for the physicians who first diagnosed it.

She was born without a vagina, uterus or cervix.

"I left the doctor’s office crying,” Beck said.

She explained that she was devastated when she realized that she will never know what it is like to be pregnant, give birth and have a period.

“All the things I had imagined doing were suddenly erased from my future," Beck said. "I was very angry and felt that I was not a real woman anymore," Beck added.

Surprising as it may be, Beck is not alone. In fact, according to the National Institute of Health, MRKH affects one in 4,500 women.

The disease mainly affects the reproductive system, and causes the vagina and uterus to be underdeveloped or nonexistent.

The external genitalia are normal. Women with MRKH have functioning ovaries and they undergo puberty.

The condition is usually detected once the teen with MRKH tries to have sex, or doesn't have her period.

Although the condition has no cure, there are several treatment options available for women with MRKH.

Eggs can be removed and fertilized for use in surrogacy, but they cannot get pregnant.

Medical procedures such as dilation or surgery, can help create a vaginal canal in women with MRKH, so they can have sex.

(Scroll down for video) Three girls who were born as triplets, were inseparable when they were young, but are now estranged forever.

Sadly, one sister pushed the other out of a window, causing her to be paralyzed for life.

Louise, Kerry and Gillian Defreitas, all 25, of the United Kingdom, are triplets, who were very close when they grew up with their father.

The womens’ father fought their mother for custody, and was awarded custody of them when they were only two-years-old.

Two years later, he met his current wife, Catherine, who helped him raise the triplets.

Now, their father, Chris Defreitas, 45, of Liverpool, spoke about his heart-break over the incident.

Mr. Defreitas said he will never forget the night that police knocked on his door to tell him that one of his triplet daughters named Louise, was seriously injured in an accident.

He rushed to the hospital, arriving just as she was being taken to the operating room.

The doctors told the father that the chances of his daughter’s survival was slim, and advised him to give her a kiss goodbye.

However, his nightmare turned into horror when he learned that the person responsible for his daughter’s "accident" was her own triplet sister named Gillian.

Fortunately, Louise pulled through, but was so badly injured that she is now a paraplegic in a wheelchair.

Louise remained in a coma for three days, and it was five months before she was finally allowed to go home.

Chris and Cathy now care for her full time.

Last week, Gillian was sentenced to eight and a half years in prison after she was found guilty of pushing Louise out of a window 25 feet above the ground.

Chris and the girls’ stepmother of 20 years, Catherine, have made the heartbreaking decision to cut Gillian out of their lives forever.

“I cannot believe how the family has been destroyed,” the father said. He explained that his decision to turn his back on his daughter tore him apart.

“There will always be a hole in our family, where Gillian should be," he said.

"For me, she will always be my little girl with a crooked smile, but we had to wash our hands of her," he added.

After watching the video of the accident during Gillian’s trial he said he won’t change his mind.

“If I ever think about contacting her in the future, one look at Louise will strengthen my resolve,” Chris said.

“There is no excuse for what she did. One of my triplets is responsible for the other spending her life in a wheelchair,” he added.

“I will never forgive Gillian, but I won’t let her destroy me. I’m planning to train as a football coach, working with disabled people,” Louise said.

“When the girls were little I dreamed so much for them. Instead, one is in prison while another is in a wheelchair,” the broken-hearted man said.
