A father was able to end a kidnapping after swinging into action and locating his stolen vehicle, according to police reports in Israel.

Three Palestinians carjacked an Israeli woman on a road near Ramallah, on Tuesday. They made off with the car while her 1-year-old daughter was in the back seat. The baby's father rushed to the area and later found his car abandoned near the Palestinian village of Dir Abzia. The child was unharmed.

The incident took place around 3:30 p.m., when the woman of Dolev, Mateh Binyamin Regional Council, was on her way home.

"I was driving home and my daughter was in the back seat. I was at an intersection near our city and a car with Israeli license plates crashed into me," she said.

"When I got out of the car to inspect the damage I realized that there were three Arab men inside the other vehicle. One of them came out to ask me if everything was fine, and as we were talking he just got into my car and drove off. I screamed, and I stopped a passing car to use the phone to call police and my husband,” the woman said.

The child's father immediately tried to get help.

"I went out and found one of my neighbors, who was armed, and got into his car and drove to the intersection. I knew that the first moments after an abduction are critical. As we were driving around I noticed my car on the side of the road,” the father said.

The poster
By: Moses Gold

A man seemed to be fed up with picking up women at the bar or on the Internet.

The Australian man found a unique and creative way to get the word out that he is looking for love.

The man has decided to try his luck through hanging humorous posters.

The single man in Sydney, named Brendan, created a simple poster with the title "Lost Girlfriend."

The poster looked similar to a missing child or missing pet flyer.

The poster reads: “If this is you… or similar… please get in touch,” accompanied by an image of actress Scarlett Johansson.

He included his phone number on tear-off strips.

After a photo of the poster was shared on social media, Brendan was invited to a local radio show to explain his reasoning behind the poster.

Brendan explained that Sydney is experiencing a "women drought."

Although there are women out there, he believes that the women are too shy.

Brendan said that he received a few phone calls from the fliers, but it was mostly from guys who called to congratulate him for his idea or just for laughs.

The single man might have narrowed his chances for real love by posting a picture of the 29-year-old actress, Johansson, as not many women look like her.

Actress Johansson surely will not go out on a date with Brendan in the near future, as she is engaged to her boyfriend Romain Dauriac.

During his interview with the local radio station, Brendan clarified that he would be happy to chat or go on a date with any woman who called him.

(Scroll down for video) A Texas boy managed to pick up a steal of a deal, and walked away with a brand new car for just $1.

As he stood next to one of the new cars at a Houston car dealership the salesman approached the vehicle and hit it with a price tag of just $1.

Anokwuru immediately bought the car, and he was overwhelmed by the whole experience. He admitted that he felt like he had "just won the lottery" despite not having a driver's license yet.

Anokwuru’s new car was one of five cars that had their prices reduced to only $1. Extraordinarily, his mother managed to buy a new car for $1 as well.

Student killed when car crashes into her classroom moment after she changes seat with another student

Lacey Gruntorad
By: Shifra Unger

(Scroll down for video) A student was killed by a car while sitting at her desk in her classroom.

Lacey Gruntorad, 22, of Arizona, was looking forward to a rewarding career as a massage therapist.

Sadly, her life was cut short moments after she changed seats with another student.

According to police, Gruntorad hoped that by sitting in front of the class, the instructor would choose her to demonstrate massage therapy techniques during class.

However, her decision to change seats was fatal, as an 80-year-old woman, who was driving a car outside of the school, confused the gas pedal with the brake and crashed into the classroom.

Gruntorad suffered massive injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another student suffered injuries to the back and leg, while the instructor, Melinda Keeling, suffered a broken arm.

The student who switched seats with Gruntorad suffered only minor injuries to the elbow and knee.

The 80-year-old driver was devastated by the accident that she caused.

She was consumed by anguish and made suicidal statements immediately after the collision.

"She did not know how she was going to live after the parents lost a child because of her," police said.

She repeated several times that she was thinking of that poor young woman who was now gone because of her, according to police.

Police called the elderly woman’s daughter, who lives in Gilbert, to the scene to console the driver and to take her home to the retirement community where she lives.

The driver said she regretted driving. She told police she was taking a friend, who had suffered a stroke, shopping, and the two had stopped at a nearby bank so the friend could use the ATM.

Investigators decided not to charge the elderly woman, as there was not enough evidence to prove that the accident was reckless, negligent or intentional.

“They decided it would be unwise and unjustified to seek criminal charges,” Gilbert police Sergeant Bill Balafas said.

New bra helps women with weight loss as it detects emotional overeating

The Smart bra
By: Eva Fett

Microsoft researchers came up with a new technology to help women lose weight.

They have developed a bra that warns women when they are overeating as a result of stress.

Many people reach for food when they are stressed. This bra is geared towards these people, and it helps them understand their moods and eating patterns.

"It’s mostly for women, who are emotional overeaters. The a bra is perfect for measuring EKG (electrocardiogram)," Mary Czerwinski, a cognitive psychologist and senior researcher in visualization and interaction at Microsoft, said.

The bra has special material and sensors to monitor a woman’s stress level.

From there, the woman is alerted to her mood, and can adjust to her behavior.

The sensors measure different things such as heart rate, respiration,
skin conductance and movement.

The data is then sent to the woman’s smartphone through an application. It will also be stored at the researchers’ computers.

The bra is still in its prototype phase and has been tested on a group of women.

One downside to the current model bra is that it has a short battery life. The battery runs out of juice after four hours.

The women had to keep recharging their bras during the experiment.

"We tried to create the same kind of thing for men's underwear, but it was too far away from the heart," Czerwinski said.

Wearable technology is one of those big areas that companies are exploring.
