A Chinese millionaire and philanthropist made headlines after he publicly swallowed liquid from a fire extinguisher.

Chen Guangbiao sprayed the liquid in his mouth to show everyone that his new product is non-toxic and completely safe.

It was indeed an excellent PR move as there is no better way to prove a person's confidence in their own product than to put it into their own body.

Guangbiao was at the training center for disaster relief in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, to promote some of his new equipment for disaster relief.

In an attempt to show the benefits of the fire extinguisher as being a "green" product, non-toxic and harmless, and to prove that his product does not leave a burning sensation if a person accidentally gets it on their face, Guangbiao sprayed the liquid directly into his mouth.

The stunt seems to have been very convincing, as one of the people at the event decided to give it a try. He then agreed that it was not bad. “It was not too bad, in fact it tasted like a herb,” the person said.

A girl was nice enough to offer an elderly woman her seat.

However, instead of appreciating the good gesture, the older woman of China, demanded money from the girl.

A witness, who was identified as Zhang, said that the girl offered the elderly woman a seat after watching her struggle to maintain balance in the crowded bus in Chengde, Hebei Province.

Unfortunately, the bus driver slammed on the brakes just as the elderly woman was trying to sit down, causing her to fall.

The girl quickly tried to help the woman, but the older woman began to blame the child for the accident.

"If you did not give me a seat I would have not fallen. You have to take responsibility," the elderly woman said.

She then demanded that the child pay for her medical expenses.

The frightened girl called her mother and asked her to come to the bus stop.

The mother tried to calm the older woman down, but to no avail.

The mother finally gave the older woman 200 yuan ($33.00).

This seems to be a disturbing trend, as there have been several reports in recent weeks about elderly, who demanded compensation from the people who helped them.
