Four children were arrested and will be charged with assault after being accused of being behind a string of “Knockout Game” attacks, according to police reports in New York.
Brooklyn Police said that they have arrested the four children on Thursday, in Crown Heights.
A 14-year-old girl and three other children, aged between 10 and 11, were arrested for being connected to three assaults that occurred between October and November.
Among the victims was an 11-year-old boy, who was punched by the suspects in the street, a young man who was hit with a stone while walking home from school and a young man who was slammed in the face with a plastic bag.
Police determined that the attacks were not motivated by anti-Semitism.
"The only similarity in all attacks was that all the victims were Jews," a police spokesperson said.
The names of the minors who were arrested, were not released because of their young age. All suspects will be charged in family court.
