The Bangladeshi woman used human rights laws to stay in the country after she is done serving her prison sentence for trying to kill her daughter.

The mother who stabbed her daughter with a kitchen knife, was given the right to stay in Britain permanently, so she can be in touch with her daughter.

The mother was jailed for stabbing her daughter when the girl was only eight-months-old.

After completing her prison sentence, she was to be deported to her native Bangladesh.

However, a family court judge gave her the right to see her daughter under close supervision for one hour, three times a year.

The judge ruled it would be “cruel” to stop the mother from seeing her child.

When the prosecutor appealed, another judge described the earlier ruling as "generous,” but refused to overturn it.

The woman, who cannot be named because it would identify the child, came to Britain in 2007, after marrying her cousin in an arranged marriage.

Their daughter was born a year later.

The marriage was not working and they were unhappy.

He also obtained a court order prohibiting her from taking the child out of the country.

Once she divorced her husband, she was supposed to leave the country, but she was unable to take her daughter with her.

The distraught mother decided to kill herself and the baby rather than be separated from her daughter.

One day, when her husband left the house, the woman began to stab her baby in the stomach.

The husband came back to find his wife with a knife and the baby bleeding.

The man grabbed the baby and ran upstairs. His wife ran after him with the knife, but she was overpowered by her brother-in-law.

Police were called and the woman was arrested.

The baby was taken to a hospital to treat the stab wounds. The baby made a full recovery.

The judge heard that the woman was suffering “huge emotional turmoil” when her husband threatened to keep the baby while sending her out of the country.

She was sentenced to 5 years in prison. When she is released she will be able stay in Britain, so she can have a relationship with her daughter, who is in the custody of her former husband.
