A man is lucky to be alive after police found him unresponsive in a car trunk, according to police reports in Spain.
Police in Spain said that they rescued a man, whose family locked him in the trunk of a car because he was drunk.
Police responded to an emergency call from a neighbor, who found the man, 24, unresponsive and wrapped in a blanket in the trunk of the car on Wednesday, in the Spanish island of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Paramedics determined that the man simply fainted.
When he regained consciousness, police said he told them he had a vague recollection of being put in the trunk of the car by his brother, cousin and another person.
Police launched an investigation into the incident, but so far, no arrests have been made.
