Four people suffered serious injuries after a fire ripped through their Flatbush area home, according to rescue workers in New York.
Fire Department New York officials said that the fire broke out on the top floor of a six-story building on Ocean Parkway near Avenue L, at 8:50 a.m.
Four people were injured, officials said. Paramedics who arrived at the scene, gave all victims primary medical care.
All victims were transported by ambulance to New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan for treatment.
Firefighters had the fire under control within a half hour.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, officials said.
