An ultra-Orthodox Jewish man was left with moderate injuries after being stabbed on Saturday afternoon, according to police reports in Israel.
Jerusalem Police said that a 30-year-old local Haredi man was stabbed while walking on Hanevi’im Street. The man suffered stab wounds to his upper body.
Ichud Hatzalah paramedics who arrived at the scene, gave the man primary medical care, and he was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
“When I got to the scene, I saw a 30-year-old man bleeding from his neck,” Joseph Amar of Ichud Hatzalah Jerusalem, who treated the victim at the scene, said.
“Passersby told police that an Arab looking man stabbed the victim before fleeing from the scene,” Amar added.
Police launched an investigation, but so far, no arrests have been made.
