(Scroll down for video) Scientist have discovered a whale with two heads, and it was all caught on video.
Exceptionally rare conjoined twin whales have been found dead in the waters of Mexico.
Fishermen found the gray whales in Ojo de Liebre lagoon in the Baja California peninsula, which opens to the Pacific Ocean.
The 13 foot long creature that weighed nearly 1,000 pounds, were linked at the midsection.
They had two full heads and tail fins, Benito Bermudez, a marine biologist and regional director of the National Natural Protected Areas Commission, said.
Bermudez said that the discovery was unprecedented in the region.
It is believed that the whales were born as a result of a miscarriage and did not survive for long.
Scientists were examining the bodies and plan to look for other cases in the animal’s habitat across the peninsula.
