A man was found dead inside a toilet of a commercial office building, according to rescue workers in New York.
The New York Police Department said that a 45-year-old man was found dead inside a fifth-floor bathroom at 227 East 56th Street, at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday.
According to police, the office building houses the Lips bar on the ground floor.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and there were no signs of physical trauma. Police launched an investigation.
This was not the only case of a dead body being found in a toilet.
The body of a newborn baby was found in the men’s room of a mosque in Malaysia.
Kangar Police chief Abdul Rahman Mohd Noordin said that a member of the congregation made the discovery at 7:00 a.m.
The eyewitness said that when he found the body it was clean, and he saw no traces of blood, pointing to the possibility that he was born elsewhere and then placed there.
Police launched an investigation into the case, but so far, no arrests have been made.
