An ultra-Orthodox Jewish man suffered injuries after falling victim to a Knockout Game attack, according to rescue workers in New Jersey.

Union City Hatzolah said that a local man was beaten by three suspects on his way to a local synagogue on Monday.

The man said that after the three men brutally beat him, they laughed and fled from the scene, leaving him on the ground bleeding.

The incident occurred one block away from the synagogue.

Hatzolah rescue workers who arrived at the scene, treated the man. He suffered lacerations to his head. Police launched an investigation, but so far, no arrests have been made.

The “Knockout Game” is one of many names given to assaults in which one or more assailants attempt to knock out an unsuspecting victim, often with a single sucker punch, all for the amusement of the attackers and their accomplices.
