(Scroll down for video) A woman is outraged after a surgery she underwent at a hospital left her constantly farting, according to a lawsuit filed in Kentucky.
Amy Herbst, a former opera singer, said she was forced to give up her singing after the surgery made her unable to sing without farting.
Herbst said she is suing the federal government for a botched surgery she received after she gave birth.
The injury was caused by the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, according to the lawsuit.
The 33-year-old former singer said that a nurse ordered the procedure in the hospital, and it was done without her consent.
The procedure damaged her reproductive and digestive systems. The lawsuit seeks $2.5 million for negligence, as well as pain, suffering, shame, and a loss of income.
The woman said that after leaving the hospital, she began experiencing periodic stool leakage and excessive flatulence.
