(Scroll down for video) Who would think that a proposal at a supermarket could lead to a “Yes?”
A man went grocery shopping and came home with much more than food, as he found his future wife.
Two years ago, while shopping, Vladimir Romannikov of South Florida, saw a good-looking woman at the Whole Foods Market in Coral Gables. He pretended to be browsing the same aisle as she did.
Monica Dehombre was looking for a bottle of Kombucha, and Romannikov stopped and looked at the display, even though he had no idea what Kombucha was.
Romannikov mustered up the courage to speak with the woman, and the two have been inseparable ever since.
After being together for two years, Romannikov proposed to her in the Whole Foods Market store where they first met.
He had some rose petals spread on the floor before taking his girlfriend grocery shopping.
As the two walked towards the front of the store, a worker handed Romannikov the device for the loudspeaker and he popped the question in front of curious shoppers.
Dehombre said “Yes!”
