A 24-year-old pregnant woman beat up her 58-year-old roommate.

While most pregnant women do anything to protect their unborn baby, one pregnant woman beat her roommate in an unprovoked attack.

Jennifer Feagley of Florida, who is six months pregnant, punched her older roommate, Patricia Marson, several times and then beat her with a cane.

Marson told deputies that Feagley hit her in the head, knocking her to the ground.

The pregnant Feagley then got on top of Marson and punched her several times in the chest, according to an incident report.

Feagley also choked Marson and beat her with a cane about five times during the assault.

According to Volusia County deputies, Feagley became angry when her roommate placed butter on the stove.

Feagley defended her actions by blaming her pregnancy hormones.

She told police that her hormones are what caused her to act out.

The pregnant woman was booked into the Volusia County Jail and she was charged with aggravated assault.
