A firefighter save the day when a tractor-trailer started burning on a highway.
Captain Craig Moreau and his wife were on their way home from a trip in Austin, Texas, when they spotted an 18-wheeler with smoke coming from the bottom and one tire on fire.
Moreau, an off-duty firefighter, did not hesitate. He jumped into action, grabbed a small fire extinguisher that the truck driver had in his possession and put out the fire.
Moreau then crawled under the 18-wheeler to make sure that their were no sparks left. He discovered that the fire started flaring up again.
Afraid that the whole truck will catch on fire, Moreau asked the truck driver what he had in his truck.
“It’s the beer! Everything is beer,” said the distraught driver. “I have cargo of Coors Banquet beer,” the driver added.
Moreau advised the driver to grab some of the beer bottles and sprayed it on the fire to extinguish the flames.
Thankfully, the two were able to extinguish the blaze with the beer before it reached the rest of the truck.
