(Scroll down for video) People at a beach ran for cover as a plane came crashing down.
Things went from bad to worse for two pilots of New Zealand, after crash landing on a beach on Friday.
When they finally tried taking off again, their plane crashed into the ocean.
Pilot Dennis Horn, and his co-pilot Manfred Scherbius, were shaken but unharmed in the double crash.
The drama at the Martins Bay beach, began when the newly installed engine on the small plane cut out mid-air, bringing the airplane down on the rocks near the sea.
Concerned beachgoers went to make sure that everyone on board was alright.
After carrying out the necessary repairs, people cheered as the plane took off once again on their makeshift runway.
However, their joy was short-lived, as the plane veered off course and landed nose first into the ocean.
Scherbius said that they had been so anxious to avoid trees and boats that they had not realized how close they were to the water.
The plane suffered a broken wing and lost a propeller blade.
Thankfully, once again, both pilots walked away unhurt. They admitted that their pride had taken a bit of a beating.
