A bold thief, who has two different color eyes, robbed a home while the homeowners were home.
Chris Connolly, 35 of New Milford, New Jersey, was jailed on Friday, after he broke into the home of the couple and robbed them as they slept.
According to police, Connolly broke into the house during the night and stole laptops, a debit card, passports, jewelry, a video camera and other items while the couple slept in another room.
An investigation was launched after the couple woke up the next morning and realized that their house had been burglarized overnight.
When one of the victims called the bank to report a stolen debit card, they were informed that the card was used at a gas station in River Edge, and at a 7-Eleven store, according to the police.
Investigators obtained a description of the suspect and the car he was driving.
Police tracked Connolly to his apartment, and Connolly confessed to the theft.
Most of the stolen items were recovered from his home along with a small amount of marijuana.
Connolly was booked into jail on charges of robbery, theft, credit card theft, theft of legal documents and possession of marijuana.
