A woman in England, donated her kidney to her husband, but when he was well enough, he left her.

Now, the heartbroken woman wants her kidney back, so she can give it to someone more deserving.

Andy Lamb, 45, was suffering from kidney failure. He was on dialysis three times a week.

His wife, Samantha Lamb, 41, of Ivybridge, Devon, offered to donate her kidney.

Andy Lamb said that he did not want to take her kidney because of the risks involved.

However, she persuaded him to take the kidney so he can be healthy and live longer.

“I never wanted her to donate her kidney because it was a big risk. She insisted, and I’ll always owe my life to her,” Andy Lamb said.

Samantha Lamb lost more than 3 stone (about 42 pounds) to make sure she would be healthy enough for the transplant operation.

They did not live happily ever after.

Just a few years after the life-saving procedure, their marriage was over when Andy Lamb walked out on his wife.

Samantha Lamb is convinced that her husband began having an affair with her friend, but he denies the allegations.

He claims that he went over to her friend’s home in order to help her train a dog.

“I hate him. If I could, I would take it back and give it to someone else,” Samantha Lamb said.

“I loved her, but our relationship was not working and her family never liked me,” Andy Lamb said.

Now, the mother-of one, wants a divorce and said that she is trying to move on with her life. However, every time she sees her scar she sees her ungrateful husband.

“At least he will always have to remember where his kidney came from,” Samantha Lamb said.
