Texas woman kills fiance’s 2-year-old daughter to hurt him

(Scroll down for video) A woman was angry with her fiance, and she took out her anger at his young daughter.

Melinda Lynn Muniz, 25, of Texas, lived together with her fiance Mitch Ford, and his 2-year-old daughter, Grace Lillian Ford.

One day, Muniz was found tied up with her ​​boyfriend’s pants and Grace Lillian Ford was found with duct tape.

During an investigation, Muniz told police that a man broke into the home and attacked them.

She also told police that the man sexually assaulted her.

Young Grace was found unconscious in his crib, her mouth covered by duct tape. She was rushed to a hospital, but could not be saved.

The child’s death was ruled a homicide after a coroner ruled that she was suffocated.

Police found surveillance video at a local store showing Muniz shopping along with the 2-year-old.

Muniz was seen buying the supplies needed to commit the murder, such as zip ties, duct tape and scissors.

After speaking with Mitch Ford, police learned that the couple had a fight in the morning, and that Muniz was told to leave the house.

Muniz was charged with murder and was held on $1 million bail.
