A pregnant woman is in trouble over the disregard she showed towards her unborn baby.

Police were called to a Walmart in Minnesota, on Monday night, after a store employee saw a woman take several articles of clothes into a locker room.

The woman then put the clothing on and tried to walk out of the store without paying.

Frank Hancock, 33 of Hastings, was arrested for shoplifting.

After officers brought Hancock to a local police station for questioning, she told them that she was 3 months pregnant.

During the booking process, officers found approximately 10 bags of heroin in Hancock’s purse.

When confronted with the evidence, Hancock asked the officers if she could keep one bag of heroin.

She also asked officers to allow her to smoke some weed while she was under arrest.

Hancock was booked into jail and charged with retail theft and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

She was later released on a signature bond.
