5-year-old boy drives his mother’s car into woman and her son

A woman and her son, were seriously injured after a 5-year-old boy drove his mother’s car and crashed into them, police in Germany said.

The boy, who was sitting alone in his mother’s Peugeot 307 after being picked up from kindergarten, turned the key and started driving. The incident occurred in Fulda, Hesse.

The woman with her ​​two-year-old son were standing in front of the car on Thursday, at 4:25 p.m.

The woman and her son, were hit and trapped under the vehicle, which only stopped at a curb. They were taken to hospital in Fulda.

The 36-year-old mother of the child, who had been standing in front of the car talking with other parents, managed to jump out of the way.

After the two were hit, she reversed her vehicle to free the 32-year-old woman and her child.

The two were seriously injured, but are expected to recover.

The car was also damaged. So far, no arrests have been made.
