A man became extremely angry after two young men poured beer on him in an unprovoked attack, police in Florida said.
The Palm Springs man began chasing the pranksters with his vehicle after they poured beer on him while he was doing some work in his garden near the street in front of his home.
Jose Estrada, 51, was arrested after he admitted to the shooting that sent a bullet through the front windshield and passenger side window of the vehicle that belonged to the beer throwers.
The wild incident began when a 20-year-old man and his friend drove down the 3000 block of Dolan Road and noticed Estrada using a leaf blower near the street. The driver slowed down and the passenger threw Budweiser at him.
It was a “stupid joke,” the two later told the police.
Estrada got into his vehicle and began chasing the two. When he caught up with them, he asked why they threw beer on him, and then pointed a gun.
The two sped away to escape Estrada, but later, they ran into him again. That is when Estrada fired at their vehicle, shooting out the window.
Estrada, who has a concealed weapons permit, said he shot at the vehicle because he thought they deserved it.
Estrada was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of firing a missile at a vehicle and one count of discharging a firearm from a vehicle.
