Rochester Police said that Sean Fallon-Nebbia, 27, was charged with first-degree assault, a felony, after he and his brother, 26-years-old, fought on Sunday night.

Police said that he beat his brother, Frank Fallon-Nebbia, in the face several times, knocking him unconscious before rescue workers arrived.

Sean was remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $15,000 cash bail or bond. An order of protection was issued for the wounded brother, who suffered severe bleeding and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.

According to prosecutors, the brothers drank a bottle of whiskey together before they began to fight.

The brother’s ear was left permanently disfigured, doctors said.
