(Scroll down for video) A school chef became extremely angry when someone told her that the cookies were overcooked, police in Massachusetts said.
Prosecutors told a court that Wendy Ferris, 46, of Cumberland, Rhode Island, threatened gun violence at the King Philip Middle School in Wrentham, when another cook baked a batch of cookies to replace her lot.
“I’m thinking of buying an AK-47 and shooting up the school,” Ferris told a coworker.
Court records revealed that Ferris reportedly told colleagues she was buying ammunition and had a list of targets.
Ferris, who is free on $5,000 bail, pleaded not guilty on Monday, to making threats to commit a crime.
Ferris, a former resident of Wrentham, has no criminal record. She has a gun license and a 9mm pistol, according to court documents.
