Police are looking to arrest and charge two men with armed robbery after they allegedly broke into a home, police in New Jersey said.

Lakewood Police said that the incident occurred on Thursday night.

Two men wearing ski masks broke into a house, which is located on Anthony Court at 7:00 p.m.

The men pistol whipped the residents and then ransacked the house, taking about $1,000 in cash and jewelry.

Police officers who responded to the scene, learned that one victim was forced into a bathtub with a towel wrapped around his head.

While one of the suspects ransacked the house, the gun was fired, hitting a dresser, police said.

Police are searching for the suspects, but so far, no arrests have been made.
