The man behind the voice of the Arabic Donald Duck, is blaming Israel for being fired from Disney, haberler.com reported.
A tweet that slammed Israel and Zionists, cost the Egyptian actor his job.
“They fired me after the U.S. media accused me of anti-Semitism,” Wael Mansour said.
For the past several years, Mansour worked with Walt Disney to make the voice of Donald Duck in Arabic.
A month after posting the tweets, Mansour received a phone call from his agent in Paris, France, who told him that the granddaughter of the founder of Walt Disney was enraged by his tweet.
By December, Mansour learned that the California-based company had decided to fire him over the comments he posted on Twitter.
As we reported earlier, the man behind the voice of the Arabic Donald Duck called on Israel to be demolished, according to a report by JNS.org.
Wael Mansour, who is the man behind the voice of the Middle Eastern Arabic version of Donald Duck, called for Israel to be “demolished” on Twitter.
“I really wish #Israel is demolished, I hate Zionism, I have so much hate inside of me with each child they murder or land they seize!” Mansour posted on Twitter.
“I do not know why insulting #Israel and #Zionism is ‘anti-Semitic’. They are just a bunch of Polish/Ethiopian immigrants about 70-years-old,” he also published.
When he was asked to comment about his anti-Israeli rant, Mansour added that “the Zionist entity is an entity that is racist by definition.”
“Zionism’s is committing hate crimes by the power of its criminal law. I stand by what I said,” Mansour said.
