(Scroll down for video) A 91-year-old woman called a local television station and asked for help to expose a fraudster in the area.

When the reporter went to the house, a woman repeatedly asked the reporter to leave.

When he refused to do so, saying that he was on public property, the woman drove away in his car.

It all began when the elderly woman was looking to rent an apartment where she can have a get together with her family.

Florida chiropractor Dr. Craig Siegal allegedly placed an advertisement on the Internet for a 11 bedroom rental home in Siesta Key.

The old woman rented the place for a family reunion, but when the family arrived, they were surprised to find that the property had only five bedrooms and several code violations.

After being cheated out of their deposit, the elderly woman contacted the television station.

Reporter Josh Taylor went to the home where he encountered the agitated woman, who ended up carjacking his news van.

The woman parked the van a few blocks away.

She then walked back to the reporter and told him to go get his van.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office identified the woman as Jean Price.

The State Attorney’s Office will decide whether to charge her with auto theft.
