(Scroll down for video) Two daredevils from Russia were in China, when they decided to climb a tall building.

Although the act is illegal, the two men, Vadim Makhorov and Vitaliy Raskalov, decided to take the risk.

The men are experienced climbers, who have climbed some of the tallest buildings in the world, like the Eiffel Tower and most recently, the Shanghai Tower.

They climbed more than 1,900 feet to the top of the building with no ropes. They were only equipped with cameras.

In an effort not to get caught by the Chinese authorities, who would have refused to approve the climb, the two waited for the nighttime darkness before climbing the second tallest tower in the world.

“During the day, there are a lot of security guards, so we started our climb during the night, when it was easier to go unnoticed,” Vadim said.

It took them about two hours to reach the top, and when they got there, all they could see was clouds.

The men waited for hours for the clouds to part. “It was worth the wait. The view was like something from an airplane window,” he added.

The two then took some pretty scary but amazing pictures from the tall building.
