(Scroll down for video) A woman will spend time in jail after she cancelled her brother’s wedding venue.

Ann Duffy, 50, of Plymouth, United Kingdom, was sentenced to 8 weeks in prison after she tried to ruin her brother David Greatrex’s wedding.

She was also issued an indefinite restraining order against her brother’s wife, who she dislikes and harassed in the past.

As we reported earlier, a woman was arrested after she cancelled her brother’s wedding venue.

Ann Duffy, 50, secretly canceled the wedding hall because she does not like his bride-to-be.

When she called the wedding hall, Duffy pretended to be the brother’s fiancee, Sandra Hardy, 28.

She called the hall’s registry office and canceled the hall for the big day.

With her mission accomplished, she called her brother David Greatrex, 52, and told him: “I saved you on the divorce. I have cancelled your wedding.”

When Hardy, who is only 28-years-old, found out what Duffy has done, she called police.

The couple managed to re-book the venue and the wedding was saved.

Defense attorney Roger Page, told the judge that the defendant believes that her brother is not suited for his wife. To avoid what she sees as a disastrous move, she canceled the wedding.

In court, Duffy pleaded guilty to harassment and will be sentenced next month.
