A 10-year-old boy took his parents’ car for a joyride, and then claimed to be a dwarf when he was questioned by police.
Norwegian police said that the boy stole his parents’ car, placed his baby sister inside it and drove off.
The boy lost control of the car and ended up in a snowy ditch in Dokka, outside of Oslo.
A snow plow driver who stopped to help, was shocked to find two young children inside the car.
However, the boy insisted that he was a dwarf.
When the man asked for his driver’s license the child said that he had forgotten it at home.
The man notified police, who finally got the truth out of the child.
Police Officer Kai Lyshaugen said that the 10-year-old woke up during the night, took his 18-month-old sister and went on a joyride.
The child headed in the direction of his grandmother’s home before driving into the ditch.
Lyshaugen said that the children were not wearing seatbelts.
Luckily, they were not injured. They were returned to their parents.
