Police officer charged with assault after farting in co-worker’s face

(Scroll down for video) A police officer is facing charges after he assaulted a co-worker, police in Texas said.

The officer of the Lago Vista Police Department, was arrested after a co-worker complained that the officer kicked him in the back and farted in his face, according to an affidavit.

Jonap Michael Lawrence, 45, was charged with assault for causing bodily injury to dispatcher Donald Varner.

It all began when Lawrence kicked his co-worker in the back, causing the dispatcher to fall forward.

The next day, Lawrence allegedly walked up to Varner, flicked him on the ear and asked how his back was doing.

While doing so, Lawrence farted in his co-worker’s face and laughed about the entire incident.

Lawrence, who worked at the Lago Vista Police Department for 14 years, was arrested after Varner filed a complaint and other co-workers who witnessed it, confirmed the incidents.
