It was a bad day for a man, who was shot in the behind, which led to his arrest.

Authorities arrested two men, who were injured in a shootout in Marrero, Louisiana, over the weekend.

Akili Bailey, 20, and Florant Treon, 21, were shot multiple times, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s office.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence just before 4:00 p.m., after receiving a report of a shooting. They arrived to find Bailey sitting on the front porch on a chair with gunshot wounds to the behind, leg and foot.

Florant was laying on his back in the grass a few feet away from Bailey. He suffered gunshot wounds to the back of his neck, leg and knee. Both were taken to the LSU Interim Public Hospital in New Orleans.

When paramedics tried to help Bailey, he refused to get up and seemed to be “squeezing his behind together,” the arrest report said. A doctor who treated Bailey in the hospital, pulled a small bag containing 2.5 grams of cocaine from his behind.

Bailey was booked for possession of drugs. He was also wanted on two outstanding warrants for simple battery and simple criminal damage to property.

The victims did not cooperate with police and refused to answer questions about the shooting, according to the incident report. So far, no arrests have been made in the case.
