(Scroll down for video) McDonald’s is facing a $1.5 million lawsuit after an employee refused to give a black customer more than one napkin, court documents filed with a California court showed.
Webster Lucas, ordered a sandwich at a Pacoima, California branch last month, and confronted the manager to ask for more napkins.
When the manager refused to give him more napkins, Lucas told him that he should have gone somewhere else to buy food. However, Lucas said that the manager made a racist comment, saying something about “you people.”
Webster emailed customer service and he was offered free hamburgers, which he refused. Webster claims that the incident caused him mental anguish and he is unable to work.
