(Scroll down for video) A couple is extremely distraught after their daughter’s “suck it” Facebook post cost them a hefty $80,000.

The incident began when Patrick Snay, 69, the former head of the Guillver Preparatory School, filed an age discrimination lawsuit after his contract was not renewed.

Eventually, the school and Snay reached an agreement in which Snay was to be paid $10,000 in back wages and a $80,000 settlement fee. Gulliver Schools also agreed to pay $60,000 for attorneys cost.

The settlement agreement had a confidentiality clause. Before Snay received his money, his daughter went on Facebook, to boast about the settlement.

“Mom and Dad won the case against Gulliver. Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer. SUCK IT,” Snay’s daughter wrote on Facebook, to her 1,200 followers.

Officials at the school quickly learned about the Facebook post, and they sent a letter to the attorneys stating that Snay had broken the confidentiality agreement. The agreement stated that neither Snay or his wife could talk about the deal to anyone except to lawyers and other professional advisers.

The school withheld all their payments.
