(Scroll down for video) A man is lucky to be alive after being stranded alone in the wilderness for ten days.
The German tourist who disappeared while hiking in Australia, said that he survived by eating flies.
After ten days alone, Daniel Dudzisz was picked up by a motorist late on Thursday, near the town of Windorah in Queensland, police said. The 26 year old, who also suffers from diabetes, was last seen before heading out to walk 77 kilometers (48 miles) from Windorah to Jundah.
Dudzisz became stranded by severe floods and lived on insects. When he was found, Dudzisz refused medical treatment and was determined to continue his walk.
