Brooklyn Police said that the incident occurred on Marcy Avenue in Williamsburg.
The school bus flipped over after being hit by the taxi. Police said the 55-year-old taxi driver was not drunk, but they are trying to determine if the driver ran a red light. Three adults and six children were taken to Woodhull Hospital, for treatments of minor injuries.
Several good Samaritans rushed to the scene after the accident to help. The children attend a school for autistic children in Bushwick.
The children were crying and they were very scared, eyewitnesses at the scene said. Police said that so far, no charges have been filed.
