Several politicians demanded compensation for the purchase of sex toys, police in Italy said.
The Finance Police of Italy, said that they were investigating the accounts of the 15 political parties that make up the Bolzano provincial council, after they found a receipt of 64.92 euros ($90) for a vibrator and two other sex toys on an expense account.

The sex toys receipt are from members of the Die Freiheitlichen party, which is a far-right separatist party representing residents in the German-speaking South Tyrol region.

The investigation was launched following a complaint of embezzlement. Earlier this year, an investigation in Sicily, exposed dozens of politicians for spending cash on everything from underwear to designer handbags.

Last year, an investigation uncovered that politicians were spending cash on expensive cheese.
