A dumb speeding driver told police that he is rushing to kill his friend, police in Florida said.

Alberto Moreno, 45, drove past an officer at extremely high speed, an officer at the scene said.

He only saw a blur and felt his car shaking. Another officer said that Moreno drove so fast that the speed could not be determined. When investigators finally caught up with him he admitted to being drunk and driving at high speeds.

He told police that he was rushing to kill his friend who screwed him over. Moreno, whose shirt was inside out and upside down, smelled of alcohol.

He said that he just left his home where he drank a lot of beer. Police performed a field sobriety test, which Moreno failed. Moreno, of the 200 block of Southwest Tulip Boulevard in Port St. Lucie, was arrested on a charge of DUI.
