(Scroll down for video) A woman was grossed out after finding a head of a reptile in her salad.
Robin Sandusky, who works in theater, said that she ordered a kale salad from the Guy & Gallard restaurant in the Chelsea neighborhood.
The salad was delivered to her workplace. When she started eating the salad she saw something weird. After looking closer she saw that the strange piece had eyes.
Sandusky called the store and asked for a refund. She said that she declined the offer for a replacement salad. The delivery worker picked up the salad and returned Sandusky’s money.
The manager, Alan, said he apologized. Jason Jeffries, a managing partner at Guy & Gallard, said that it is company policy to issue a refund when a customer requests one. The restaurant has received an “A” during the most recent health inspection.
