(Scroll down for video) Four children were hospitalized after being shot in Williamsburg, police in New York said.
Brooklyn Police said that the shooting occurred at 7:30 p.m., on South 2 Street and Roebling Street.
The four victims, a 12 year old, two 14 year olds, and a 17 year old, were shot in the legs. All are expected to survive. The children are not cooperating with the police investigation.
Two of the victims were taken to Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, while the two other victims were taken to Bellevue Hospital in New York City. According to an eyewitness at the scene, a man called out to the children while they were playing on the street and began shooting.
The police suspect that the shooting may have been gang related.
