(Scroll down for video) Water gushing out from a broken fire hydrant was able to lift a car off the ground, according to video uploaded to the Internet.
The incident occurred on Saturday, in San Diego California.
In addition, ten people were temporarily displaced from their homes after water from the fire hydrant flooded their houses in the East Village. According to the San Diego Police, the fire hydrant broke after a white van traveling on G Street around 5:50 p.m., hit the passenger side of a Toyota Corolla driving on 17th Street.
The impact sent the car flying into the fire hydrant. The jet of water shooting out from the floor was powerful enough to suspend the back of the car in the air.
The water flooded the road and six nearby houses. The Red Cross helped ten displaced people find a place to spend the night as the water from their homes were being drained and the damage repaired.
