A Jewish couple said that they were assaulted while walking to a holiday celebration party in the Ukrainian city of Kiev.
Zelman Hazkolivich said that he and his wife were attacked by a group of eight armed men.
The couple was walking on a street when a man ordered them to stop. The husband sensed that they were about to be attacked so he stopped a taxi and told the driver to quickly take them to safety.
However, the gang surrounded the taxi, and they ordered the drive to kick the Jewish couple out from his car. The driver hit the accelerator and sped off, but they became stranded on the next block due to traffic.
The anti-Semitic attackers realized that the taxi had stopped and approached the vehicle, dragging the couple out of the car. The Jewish couple managed to escape and filed a complaint with the police.
