A Maine man was shocked to see a group of armed police officer surround his home.

The incident happened on Tuesday morning, after employees of a tree removal company reported that the man has threatened them with a gun.

However, Michael Smith did not have a gun. He has a life-size tattoo of a gun on his stomach, and it looks like a gun tucked in the pants when he does not wear a shirt.

The incident began when Smith came out shirtless from his home to inform the workers to leave his property. After the employees yelled “tree removal,” he returned home to his bed.

One of the employees thought he had a gun in his pants and alerted police to the situation. Police said a group of armed agents used a megaphone to order Smith out of his home.

When he did, police realized that it was just a misunderstanding.
