(Scroll down for video) A Flatbush man is dead after being shot by a boy on a Brooklyn city bus, police in new York said.
Brooklyn Police said that 14-year-old Kahton Anderson, opened fire during a dispute on Thursday night, fatally shooting the 39-year-old man in the head.
The attack occurred around 6:20 p.m. on a B15 bus while it was traveling on Marcus Garvey Boulevard near Lafayette Avenue. Police said there was an argument involving several teenagers on the bus, but they did not know what it was about.
The gunman fired more than one shot, and witnesses described hearing three or four shots. The victim was identified by police as Angel Rojas of East Flatbush.
He was transported to Woodhull Medical Center, where he later died of his wounds. The teenager was arrested, and authorities said they recovered the murder weapon.
Angel Rojas came to the U.S. about four years ago from the Dominican Republic with his wife, Maria Lopez, 41, his son, Saury, 12, and their daughter, April, 8.
