Man steals cutlery from former boss to open his own restaurant across the street

A man was fed up with working for someone else and decided to open his own restaurant.

The man of China, identified as Wu, was working at a restaurant when he decided to open his own restaurant.

However, Wu did not want to spend a lot of money, so he decided to steal cutlery from his boss. Shanghai Police arrested the local businessman after he managed to steal enough flatware from his employer’s restaurant to open his own restaurant.

The man’s audacity did not end with stealing the cutlery. He opened his restaurant across the street from his former employer.

The owner of the Hongkou district restaurant, named Wang, said he had bought a few sets of expensive cutlery before Wu stole it.

Wu successful opened his new restaurant across the street from his former employer. However, his success was short lived as he was arrested and charged with theft a few days after the grand opening.
