(Scroll down for video) Two young teenagers were arrested and charged with attempted murder.

The teens Yaquelin Galvez Don, 13, and Pedro Solis, 15, were in love. However, the girl’s parents disapproved of their relationship.

When her parents tried to break them up, the teens conspired to kill them. Solis attacked his girlfriend’s mother, Luz Galvez, with a knife on Sunday, and threatened the life of her husband because they wanted him to stop seeing their daughter.

The boy cut the throat of his girlfriend’s mother after the young couple hatched a plot to kill the parents because they disapproved the relationship.

Luz Galvez, who survived the ordeal, told police that her daughter lured her out of their Florida family home so that Solis could attack her.

He then went inside the house and put a knife to the throat of the girl’s father, but the man escaped uninjured and persuaded Solis take his wife to the hospital, police said.

Hospital staff quickly called the police after the mother was dropped off in the emergency room. Luz Guzman survived emergency surgery and was able to tell investigators what happened.

Both teens have been arrested and charged with second-degree attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder. They are being held in Ocala County Jail without bail.
